Privacy Policy

The short version: ArrowShift has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or any other personal information. Your progress stays on your device. The only data that leaves your device is what Google's ad service uses to show an optional video ad, and only when you choose to watch one.

This policy explains how the ArrowShift mobile game (“the app”, “we”) handles information. It applies to the Android and iOS versions of the app.

What is stored on your device

So the game can remember where you were, it saves the following in the app's own storage on your device:

Levels completed, stars earned and best move counts
Which new puzzle pieces you have already been introduced to
Your sound and music settings
A local log of game events (for example “level started” or “level completed”) used to balance difficulty during development

We do not receive any of this; it is never uploaded. It is deleted when you uninstall the app, and you can erase your progress at any time with Reset progress on the home screen.

Advertising

ArrowShift is free. When you run out of hearts or undos, or want to wake a napping critter, you can choose to watch a short rewarded video ad. Ads are provided by Google AdMob.

When an ad is requested, Google may collect and process:

Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA)
Your IP address and approximate location derived from it
Device and app information, such as device model, operating system and app version
How you interact with the ad (for example, whether it was viewed or tapped)

Google uses this to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. This data goes to Google, not to us. How Google handles it is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices:

On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads).
On iOS, the app will ask before it uses your advertising identifier for tracking. You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can choose non-personalized ads.

Ads are never required to play. Every level can be completed without watching one.

What we never collect

Your name, email address, phone number or contacts
Precise (GPS) location
Your photos, files, or any other app's data
Payment information. ArrowShift has no in-app purchases.
Anything you type, because the game has no text input

Permissions

ArrowShift does not ask for camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or notification permissions. It uses internet access only to load ads.

Children

ArrowShift is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.

Data retention and deletion

We hold no data about you on any server, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Data on your device is removed when you reset progress or uninstall the app. To ask Google about advertising data, use the controls above or Google's privacy tools.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of ArrowShift changes what is collected or shared, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
